We appreciated the advice on visits, restaurants and outings given in the road book.
Regarding the plantation visits, we really appreciated the Houmas plantation. However, we learned that the Laura plantation organized tours in French and was more focused on the life and conditions of slaves, which Houmas lacked.
Note that we do not recommend the micro inn hotel in the city of Houma. Admittedly, it was not the one reserved at the base, but even if it has rooms available, its dilapidation, and our installation in a room adapted for the disabled (very low and poorly sealed toilet), did not convince us. There are other hotels around at the same price.
We are still awaiting reimbursement from Authentik of the price paid when booking the lunch boat in New Orleans. Indeed this activity has not been working for some time according to the agent on site. For the moment we have been offered a refund corresponding to 2/3 of the price.
As far as we are concerned, we particularly appreciated the visit to the Vermillion Ville estate, to which we would give 2 stars instead of 1 (very nice discovery of all these renovated or moved houses plunging us into the atmosphere of the Acadian towns of the last century with a exceptional meeting of an Acadian descendant who told us lots of anecdotes with his typical French) in the road book and rather 2 stars instead of 3 for the Tabasco factory (seeing 3 stars we expected a much richer visit).
Our little detour to Bâton Rouge at the Capitol was very nice and free with the added bonus of a little discussion in French with an old agent on site who told us the anecdote of the pen thrown into the air during an attack in the Senate chamber and still planted in the ceiling, we saw it :)
To conclude, we thank Authentik for its promptness, the availability of our advisor, we liked the atmosphere of Louisiana, its very friendly inhabitants and its picturesque little corners.

Our fabulous roadtrip in Louisiana and Florida
(Translated by Google) We have just spent 3 exceptional weeks in the United States: departure from New Orleans (Louisiana) on 09/16/19 and end of the trip in Miami (Florida) on 10/5/19. Everything went perfectly, from start to finish. We had asked our adviser Andréa to send us the roadbook at home before departure in order to better prepare our stay. We used the CityMaps2Go application to record hotels, activities, all the points to visit (super well detailed in the roadbook). Once there, the app can be used offline and guides us to the various points without worries. The advantage is to be able to determine the order of visits via the map and to know where you are at all times. I don't know enough superlatives to describe our dream trip, everything was perfect: the super comfortable car with all the possible and imaginable options, the hotels perfectly adapted to our needs (comfort, geographical location, parking, fridge, ... ), beautiful weather, top activities (paddle boat on the Mississippi, Swamp tour in the bayous, swimming with manatees in Crystal River, airboat in the Everglades, feeding tarpons in the Keys, zodiac tour in Miami Beach , ...), superb visits (the French Quarter, the plantations, Lafayette, the Tabasco factory, the disproportionate amusement parks in Orlando, the Kenedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, the luxurious houses in Fort Lauderdale, the sweetness of life in Key West, ...), beautiful encounters (people and their culture, but also many animals such as alligators, raccoons, squirrels, turtles, manatees, pelicans, ...), very typical food (cajun and american e), the magnificent beaches in the Gulf of Mexico and the incredible sunsets (Panama City Beach).
