The New England Aquarium has so much to offer that visitors hardly know where to look first! The aquarium is home to thousands of aquatic animals - from striped pyjama sharks to giant Pacific octopus to little blue penguins.
The main attraction is the Giant Ocean Tank, a four-storey coral reef featuring hundreds of reef animals that visitors can observe through large glass windows.
In addition to traditional aquarium tanks, the aquarium offers the chance to observe an array of marine mammals and birds. An open-air marine mammal habitat houses seals and sea lions that can be seen lounging, playing and zooming around the exhibit space.
