For future travellers, be careful when renting a vehicle, some companies force the FPO (full refill of fuel charged at full price). If you are in Las Vegas, the OYO hotel is well located but very very average, it is the worst of our whole trip. For San Francisco, plan warm and windproof clothes, in the middle of July we were freezing. Our favorite excursion is Kanab with the visit of Peek-a-boo, Bruce the guide is top, it is quite equivalent to Antelope canyon, but cheaper and you can take pictures (you have to pay around $200 in Antelope to be able to photograph ). Our favorite places were the Tioga Road, Bryce Canyon, Monument Valley and Death Valley (a great surprise, it's superb). If you're going between Kanab and Page, take 89A instead of 89, Vermilion Cliff Park is worth a look. One last tip: in summer there are a lot of clouds in the west, the weather changes very often and very quickly, do the visits in the morning, we always had good weather from 7am to 12pm.
