When filling out the form, be sure to enter your EXACT name, as stated on your passport. This is essential; we have too often seen travelers panic after being refused entry for this reason.

Also, the passport number you provide online must absolutely match the 9 alphanumeric characters on your passport, in this format: 12AB34567.

How long is the ESTA valid for?

An ESTA authorization is valid for 2 years from the approval date, or until your passport expires if that happens first.

It allows you to make multiple trips to the United States, as long as each visit does not exceed 90 consecutive days.

If you have already had an ESTA authorization and it has expired, you must apply for a new one online. Of course, you will have to pay the fees again.
