RV rental
Great camper
It’s a great camper. Little too big for us though. Didn’t really had any issues, just the leg space in the front could be better. And the Matratze is only an air one so you can feel absolutely everything.
Colorado road trip.
Our experience of hiring a RV from Cruise America through Authentik was good.
The booking experience was great with a very responsive agent.
When we arrived at the Denver location to collect the vehicle the service was ok albeit quite rushed. I’m quite experienced with RVs whereas less experienced people might be intimidated.
The vehicle itself was ok. It was a bit tired and had well over 100000 miles on the clock. An annoying feature was that a warning light kept coming on stating there was a tire pressure issue and which despite me calling the CA hotline wasn’t ever resolved.
It would be helpful to include a dustpan and brush with the vehicle.
However we had a great time and really enjoyed the trip.

Mostly good
Some small issues with the RV including a faulty fridge and no cleaning materials included but other than that fine
bad service and ugly RV
It wasn't clean and didn't have all the minimum things they needed to provide you. For a 30ft RV, it wasn't all that good either. Also, the people there weren't nice.
10 day west coast RV trip
Very happy with our rental experience with El Monte! Picked up and dropped off in different locations which helped us see more than we ever imagined. The RV was perfect, no issues and was big enough for our family to enjoy/relax. The process of picking up/returning was extremely smooth and quick! Thank you for giving us the tools to make our vacation all we dreamed it to be. [...]
Authentik organisation of RV tour through Utah
Authentik's Daphné Gagnon organised an outstanding tour for three RVs of old friends touring around Nevada, Utah and Arizona. Daphné could not have been more helpful in keeping us updated with any changes and the sites she chose were outstanding and met our needs very well. I would certainly recommend them and we too shall use them again when thinking of a tour. They knew the sights that would appeal, the road journeys were not too long and the variety of sights and experiences met our every need. [...]
Small RV for a long road trip
I past 3 weeks with a Jucy RV in western USA. That car is convenient thanks to its optimised size ! We was 3 persons, I guess it is possible at 4 but including 2 kids. The limit was place for our personal luggages. Ready for a new experience with its little RV’s !
Wonderful road trip
Everything with good in our road trip. We would do it the same way if we come again.
Several problems.
(Translated by Google) The campsite had several problems.
The fridge turned off randomly.
The generator didn't work for the last 4 days (but a commercial gesture was made).
The hot water heating was also random. The response from the support called Saturday morning for the generator was of no help.
Have a good trip, but I wouldn't do it again.
(Translated by Google) As foreign people who speak a little English, the person doing the check-in did not take into account that they needed to speak slowly. The check-in was therefore too fast, with not enough relevant explanations on the interior use of the camper. We had to search the vehicle's written guide to understand the operation of the batteries, electricity, gas usage, etc. (a document that, moreover, does not exactly match the same vehicle we had).
The vehicle's pedals are very high, and yet we don't have small feet. It was uncomfortable to drive.
The dish kit includes plates and cups that are not plastic. Not a very wise choice for a vehicle sensitive to the slightest bump on the road, breakage is difficult to avoid.
The rental of the 2-chair kit was appreciated, as was the possibility of paying for pre-filling to return for check-out without worries.
Cleaning is necessary inside; it leaves with disinfectant wipes, so we doubt the cleanliness.
The trip went well, but counting the rental price + the price of gasoline for a heavy vehicle + the camping pitches (without which we have no water and electricity, therefore access to sockets and microwave), it comes to an excessive price.
Check-out went well and was quick.

Been going for 3 weeks after an initial breakdown.
(Translated by Google) We initially set off with campervans where we had a really bad experience, the van broke down which complicated our trip, but we were then able to continue with Traveller's Autobarn. This van is super well equipped. We can stand up in it, which makes a big difference to the comfort, and there is a real kitchen inside.
Very good RV rental agency.
14-day Road Trip in the American West
(Translated by Google) We had a pleasant stay for our first family experience (couple with 3 children aged 8, 5, and 3). Unfortunately, the refrigerator was not working, but customer service supported us by offering various solutions, and we were able to obtain financial compensation. In addition, Alexandra from Authentik USA provided excellent support and advice before and during the trip, allowing us to feel confident. Thank you to her!

Satisfied, but with some dissatisfactions.
(Translated by Google) The welcome from the person driving the shuttle in Los Angeles was not very warm. The RV check-in was easy.
Regarding cleanliness inside, the sun shade wasn't very clean, and the sheets, although clean, didn't smell good.
For the return to San Francisco, no one had warned us that after a certain time, there is no longer a shuttle to take us to the airport, even though we were on time for the return at 10:30 am. We had to take an Uber.
In the end, we are satisfied, but not with everything.

Well-used vehicle.
(Translated by Google) In the rush of your trip, you neglect the small details, and once on the road, they ruin it for you. Take your time at the start, refuse what doesn't suit you, because afterwards it will be too late.
RV for sale with defects.
(Translated by Google) The RV was dirty at pickup, and the electricity at the outlets didn't work, which we didn't notice right away. The pickup in San Francisco went so-so, with contradictory explanations compared to the videos we had watched beforehand. In the end, we followed the recommendations from the videos and not from the branch. The condition of the vehicle was also not great, several boards were falling off. But at least it makes you worry less and you don't need to pay as much attention.
The return to Las Vegas went well. In the end, we still had a lot of fun despite everything.

Beeva van rental
(Translated by Google) Comfortable and spacious van. Clean when we picked it up. Check-in a bit too fast because 3 vehicles were being rented that day. Therefore, lacked some information. Fortunately, we checked the kitchen equipment ourselves because we only had one knife and fork. Anyway, very few utensils, we had to buy glasses, a salad bowl, and a bottle opener. Check-out even faster than check-in and the staff does it alone! If you check everything and make sure everything is explained well, it's a good rental company.

American West road trip
(Translated by Google) Branch near Las Vegas
Easy access
Service and reception ok
Make a video on site of your rental before departure even if you sign a voucher with the staff, this protects both parties and avoids omissions
New motorhome. Easy check-in and check-out. Very good!
A road trip in the Midwest
(Translated by Google) We were very satisfied with our campervan rental this summer. Everything went very well, both during the pick-up and the return: the organization is smooth and the staff is welcoming, friendly and available, which inspires confidence from the start.
The campervan was in good condition and met our expectations. Only small downside: we found that it lacked a few comfort options, in particular a reversing camera, which would have been really practical for maneuvering.
Apart from this point, the experience was very positive and we recommend this agency for its professionalism and the quality of its service.

Not as good as imagined
(Translated by Google) That was the negative point of our trip, the campervan turned out to be both extremely noisy and also unsanitary in terms of the water. We had to change it after harsh discussions with El Monte. The new one was better regarding the water, but the interior comfort still left something to be desired. For the price we paid, we expected better.
Satisfied
(Translated by Google) The rental was entirely satisfactory from a functional point of view, both the motor and the campervan equipment. We had no breakdowns or problems that affected our trip.
Just a little disappointed by the points below:
Lack of outlets to charge phones. We had to buy a cigarette lighter adapter which was the only charging point during the entire road trip.
No Bluetooth car radio. Only radio with no connection possible. If I had known, I would have brought a portable speaker...
No cleaning kit provided. At least a dustpan and brush would be welcome. We had to buy one on-site and then leave it for the next renter.
The interior of the campervan is a little dated but not bothersome. As indicated above, everything worked perfectly.

Trip to the United States
(Translated by Google) We were a family of five and rented an RV for 17 days. We traveled nearly 1700 miles and everything went perfectly. The vehicle was of very good quality and the team took the time to explain in detail how each piece of equipment worked. Without hesitation, we would use their service again for a future RV adventure.
An unforgettable trip!!
(Translated by Google) A great experience and an unforgettable trip.
A very functional motorhome suitable for our family of 4.
El Monte RVs are reliable.
Very easy communication with Virginie, whom we thank for her availability and advice.
Motorhome Quality
(Translated by Google) We had an old generation motorhome and it was not stipulated in the contract and price, with a toilet and shower in the room (not comfortable and unpleasant with the smells). The explanations were rushed, and the equipment was either dirty or defective (the pipes managing the wastewater for example).
Very good reception and return / poor assistance
(Translated by Google) We recovered the vehicle without problem, it was clean. However, we had a lot of difficulty reaching assistance following a problem (the retractable entry step was no longer working). Despite text messages, calls, and email, no one responded, we had to drive like that. This, however, did not pose a problem for them upon return.
The AF33 camper is ultra comfortable and easy to drive even without experience with large vehicles.

Could do better
(Translated by Google) 3 days without hot water
An appointment not honored by the assistance (a lot of time wasted)
A vehicle poorly checked before our departure
A ridiculous compensation
Very good vehicle, very functional and very easy to handle
Dirty and used motorhome
(Translated by Google) The provided campervan was at the end of its life, over 200,000 km, leak in the fresh water tank, dilapidated window seals, unscrewed interior benches, dirty shower, damaged exhaust etc. At least, we didn't risk damaging it further.
No introduction, just did you watch the video...
But otherwise, it did the job and we weren't bothered.
We must have gotten the bad one.
More than 5200 km at its wheel. You have to understand that the fuel consumption is gargantuan, especially in the mountains (we averaged 25l/100 km).
There were 5 of us, the space isn't great but it worked with acceptable comfort.
[...]
Beautiful Memories
(Translated by Google) Impeccable and personalized welcome, available during the handover.
Return was the same.
The campervan is a real little house on wheels. However, plan for a good petrol budget, it consumes 25 L/hour. The price of fuel varies considerably, we saw it go from $2.83 to $6!
A couple of things were missing.
The outdoor table and chair pack is really bad, low-end, old and not checked. Two out of the four chairs were broken. The plastic table was all scratched and dirty.
The sheet pack was adequate, a few dirty sheets with stains. Too bad. We had a problem with the gas water heater (significant flashback when starting it up mid-stay). I had the online service who found me a repairman on the road, so I confirm that the assistance works; but we couldn't get it repaired, the garage closed at 7.00pm and we arrived at 7.30pm, it's a shame we weren't warned. They found the garage in Zion, but our accommodation reservation was in Hurricane. I wasn't going to go back to Zion (a detour at my expense of more than 40 minutes each way); they should have suggested a repairman in Hurricane, our camping spot for 2 days.
In summary, El Monte is, I think, a serious company, I compared other campervans (Cruise America, etc.) the vehicles seemed more worn.
IF we do another campervan trip, I will book through this company.
