We rented a Ford C30 (30 feet) not very young (almost 100,000 miles on the clock) but we had no technical problems during the 4700 km covered!
And otherwise, we loved this road-trip which took us from SFO to Death Valley, then Zion, Lake Powell (magnificent!) and Antelope Canyon (fabulous!), then Monument Valley (mythical), Arches, The Grand Canyon of Colorado of course, and back by the wonderful Highway 1 along the Pacific Coast, all in 18 days, it was busy but we made it!
