Hired a car through Authentik for a 28 day road trip through the western US. Have to say that they were very helpful and I believe were far and above the most competitive when comparing the cost directly with the hire companies.
I would definitely use them again when travelling in the US and Canada.

From the booking to the car return, the whole process was quick and easy and the price was fantastic. I even called Customer Service and got right through to a live Representative who answered my question. Definitely using Authentik again.

I used authentik to book a hire car in the USA, they found the best price for my needs. Picking it up from Thirifty was easy, slight wait at the terminal as only one desk manned and a lot of customers but we had kind of expected a wait. Booked a Jeep compass but was given a KIA SUV so a little disappointed as I wouldn't have put them in the same class but it drove well and served us well on our trip. [...]

Fast efficient service, but they tried to give us a fairly old car and we were disappointed as we had a lot miles to cover. We spoke to the garage attendant and he did let us select a new car so all was ok in the end. The staff at the check in counter did try to sell us 'toll road package' at nearly $180 dollars for 2 weeks - with no help or advice if the price was worth it or not! Luckily we refused it as there was only a $10 charge per toll used (we used zero tolls!) so plan your route and check the tolls! Pretty sure most people wont use 18 toll roads during their rental so be aware! [...]

Coming from New Zealand, first time driving in the States, we were very happy with our car we hired in New Orleans and drove to West monroe, Dallas, San Antonio and Houston. The car was a very comfortable Rav 4. We did think we were getting a Ford Edge, happy anyway. Authentik were an easy company to deal with. Avis was also easy to deal with.
